IOEC AT THE TURN OF 2025–2026

EVENTS, STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES, KEY DIRECTIONS,
AND PROMISING INITIATIVES.
AT RUSSIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY’S ANNUAL EXPERT MEETING
December 23 — At the invitation of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Dmitry Stasyulis, President of the International Organisation for Eurasian Cooperation (IOEC), attended the annual expert meeting with the country’s leading public and religious organisations engaged in international human rights
initiatives, including within the UN and OSCE. The event chaired by Dmitry Lyubinsky,
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, saw President Stasyulis report on the IOEC’s achievements and international initiatives, while participants reviewed the outcomes of 2025 and set objectives for 2026, aimed at strengthening Russia’s standing and enhancing its
engagement in international dialogue.
INDIA’S 77TH REPUBLIC DAY RECEPTION
January 26 — At the invitation of H. E. Vinay Kumar, Ambassador Extra ordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Russia, Adviser to the IOEC President Alok
Kumar attended a gala reception in Moscow to mark the 77th Republic Day of India. The event was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, Russian government bodies, and business circles. Opening remarks were delivered by H. E. Vinay Kumar and Andrey Rudenko, Deputy
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. Strengthening ties with India is a key focus
of IOEC’s activities; in 2025, the Organisation conducted a business mission to Delhi and held a series of meetings with Indian partners.
ANNUAL LEASING UNION MEETING
January 28 — Dmitry Stasyulis, President of the International Organisation for Eurasian Cooperation (IOEC), attended the annual general meeting of the Leasing Union. In his address, he outlined IOEC’s key initiatives in international leasing, and reported on the newly established Leasing Council—a supranational platform uniting leasing associations from Russia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. Its inaugural meeting was held on August 20, 2025, as part of the World Forum “New Era—New Ways.” The Council’s remit includes harmonising regulation, fostering cross-border financing, and aligning legal practices across Eurasia.
MEETING NAMIBIA’S AMBASSADOR
February 2 — The IOEC delegation led by President Stasyulis met with H. E. Monica Nashandi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Namibia to Russia. During
the meeting, the two sides agreed on a series of practical steps to strengthen bilateral ties. Fostering Russian-Namibian cooperation through IOEC’s Business Centre was set as a priority,
with the parties outlining steps to expand engagement in culture and arts. H. E. Monica Nashandi expressed interest in publishing an interview in the “Eurasian Dialogue.”
ONLINE MEETING WITH PHDCCI MEMBERS
February 3 — A videoconference was held with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI, India). The IOEC was represented by President Dmitry Stasyulis and Executive Director Evgeniya Stasyulis, while the Indian side was represented by Deputy Secretary-General
Navin Seth and Senior Secretary Manisha Singh. The discussions centred on securing a cooperation agreement, organising Russia-India business missions, and fostering direct ties between the business communities of both countries.
FOSTERING RUSSIAN-INDIAN DIALOGUE
February 4 — Dmitry Stasyulis, President of the International Organisation for Eurasian Cooperation
(IOEC), held a working meeting with the Indian business community. The Indian side was represented by Alok Kumar, President of the Economic Council of India and Honorary Governing Body Member of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Adviser to the IOEC President on India, and Prashant Pandit, CEO of Eternal and Co-CEO of Tokenisation EROS Innovation. The parties explored promising avenues for Russian-Indian collaboration in media and entertainment, as well as potential cooperation in healthcare and innovative digital solutions across adjacent sectors.
MEETING BAHRAIN’S AMBASSADOR
February 5 — Dmitry Stasyulis, President of the International Organisation for Eurasian Cooperation (IOEC), met with H. E. Ahmed Al-Saati, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation. The two sides discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral relations through the IOEC Business Centre, with a focus on advancing specific business projects. The talks centred on expanding trade in agro-industrial products, and an agreement was reached granting the IOEC exclusive rights as coordinator for
Russia’s participation in the Bahrain International Garden Show.
RUSSIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY AWARD “FOR COOPERATION”
February 5 — Dmitry Stasyulis, President of the International Organisation for Eurasian Cooperation (IOEC), was awarded the “For Cooperation” badge by Sergey Lavrov, Russia’s Foreign Minister. The formal presentation of the award was conducted by Aleksandr Pankin,
Russia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, on February 19, 2026. The high recognition of the efforts by Dmitry Stasyulis reflects his contributions to advancing the Greater Eurasian Partnership initiative and representing Russia as its C20 Sherpa. “We will continue our active engagement on the international track, advocating for the support of Russia’s foreign economic and foreign
policy course across the Greater Eurasia and the Global South,” commented President Stasyulis on receiving the award.
COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH AIAI
February 6 — Dmitry Stasyulis, President of the International Organisation for Eurasian Cooperation
(IOEC), and Dr Vijay Kalantri, President of All India Association of Industries (AIAI)—one of India’s leading business associations—signed a cooperation agreement which aims to enhance trade and economic cooperation, broaden business ties, and facilitate joint projects between the Indian and Eurasian business communities. The agreement reaffirms IOEC’s strategic commitment to forging
international partnerships with key global economic hubs.
MEETING ETHIOPIA’S AMBASSADOR
March 5 — The Embassy of Ethiopia hosted a meeting between Dmitry Stasyulis, President of the International Organisation for Eurasian Cooperation (IOEC), and H. E. Genet Teshome Jirru, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to Russia. The two sides discussed prospects for launching joint projects, while Iskander Sungatullin, Chair of the Board of the PEGAZ Group, presented an initiative for cooperation in oil, gas, and petrochemical engineering through IOEC’s Business Centre. The Ambassador praised IOEC’s efforts to strengthen ties with African partners and expressed readiness to deepen collaboration.
ENGAGEMENT WITH CHINESE PARTNERS
March 11 — Dmitry Stasyulis, President of the International Organisation for Eurasian Cooperation (IOEC), held a working meeting with Gao Qi, General Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in the Russian Federation. The parties discussed prospects
for strengthening Russian-Chinese collaboration through the IOEC Business Centre, while also identifying key areas for closer cooperation: investment, trade, entrepreneurship, and support for business initiatives.
IOEC: INFORMATION PARTNER AND CO-ORGANISER AT KAZANFORUM – 2026
The IOEC has been designated the official information partner of the International Economic Forum “Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum,” which will take place in Kazan on May 12–17, 2026. A highlight of the business programme will be the special session “The Greater Eurasian Partnership:
Development Strategy,” scheduled for May 14. The session will be organised by the Strategic Vision Group “Russia —Islamic World,” the Russian Foreign Ministry, the IOEC, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), and the Economic Society of the Republic of Tatarstan. Participants will explore concrete projects, initiatives, and tools for advancing the Greater Eurasian Partnership.
