I am honoured to extend my deepest gratitude to H. E. Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chair of the Group of Strategic Vision “Russia — Islamic World,” for his kind invitation to take part in this important annual gathering in the tolerant and welcoming city of Kazan.
I commend his effective leadership of the Group and his personal dedication to strengthening friendship and cooperation between Russia and the Islamic world.
I would also like to express my profound appreciation to H. E. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, and the Russian Government for their special commitment to deepening friendly relations and cooperation with the OIC.
The Group of Strategic Vision “Russia — Islamic World” has established itself as a leading platform for promoting friendship, dialogue, and mutual understanding between Russia and the Islamic world.
The OIC is committed to enhancing its contribution to the Group’s goal of serving shared interests and fostering a world order grounded in sovereign equality, non-interference, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
The OIC advocates for a more balanced world order that upholds international peace and security, justice, and equal opportunities for all nations to develop, while preserving their cultural, civilisational, and religious values.
In closing, I wish all participants fruitful and productive work. I am confident that the Forum will make a significant contribution to expanding the horizons of cooperation and joint action across all areas of mutual interest.
