Russia and South Africa to Expand Business Cooperation

Johannesburg, 22 November – Dmitry Stasyulis, President of the International Organisation for Eurasian Cooperation (IOEC), held a meeting with Mtho Xulu, President of the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI), with the participation of Anton Ryabchikov from the Russian Embassy in South Africa.

The parties discussed joint business projects and priority areas for partnership.

South Africa highlighted several priorities, including the development of port infrastructure and the export of local tea to the Russian market.

Dmitry Stasyulis emphasised the interest of Russian companies in projects related to seafood production and processing.

The IOEC Business Centre is considered as the central platform for cooperation, enabling entrepreneurs from both countries to establish direct connections and implement bilateral investment initiatives.

In the near future, the parties aim to sign a cooperation agreement, marking the starting point for the systematic expansion of business ties between Russian and South African enterprises.
