June 3, 2026. Among the key areas of the business programme are the development of multi-sectoral cooperation with the countries of the Global South and Greater Eurasia, as well as the strengthening of interaction within multilateral formats.
On the second day of the Forum, special attention was paid to sessions setting the direction for the further development of international economic partnership:
A separate emphasis was placed on the role of investment, technological development, and open markets as the basis for a new architecture of global business. Today, practical cooperation, trust between partners, and readiness to implement joint projects are becoming key conditions for sustainable economic growth.
Denis Agafonov, Head of the Presidential Expert Directorate and Russia’s G20 Sherpa, spoke about the establishment and launch of the National Committee for BRICS Business Cooperation. He highlighted the importance of business diplomacy and its broad potential for strengthening international ties.
The Forum also featured substantive dialogues with countries of the Arab world:
During the discussions, priority areas for developing economic partnership were identified, and the parties confirmed their readiness to jointly overcome emerging challenges. In particular, agriculture and pharmaceuticals were named among the key business tracks of Russian-Saudi cooperation.
The IOEC delegation continues its work at SPIEF 2026. Meetings have been held with representatives of delegations from Brazil and Saudi Arabia, as well as with partners from Russia.
The Forum remains an important platform for direct dialogue, building new business ties, and promoting concrete initiatives aimed at the development of mutually beneficial international cooperation.
