On February 2, a meeting between the IEA delegation and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Monica Ndilyawike Nashandi took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Namibia.
IOEC President and Editor-in-Chief of the Eurasian Dialogue magazine, Dmitry Stasyulis, congratulated Ms. Nashandi on her official assumption of office and wished her success in her diplomatic mission.
During a constructive and trusting dialogue, the parties discussed in detail key areas of cooperation between Russia and Namibia and reached a number of important agreements:
Economic and Investment Cooperation: The MOES Business Center has outlined plans to support and implement a Russian company's seafood project in Namibian waters.
Information Exchange: An exclusive interview with the Ambassador was agreed upon for the new issue of the Eurasian Dialogue magazine, dedicated to current issues of multilateral economic cooperation.
Participation in Multilateral Formats: The Namibian side confirmed its participation in the upcoming G20 Social Forum in Moscow in 2026, which MOES is organizing jointly with the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
Cultural and Humanitarian Ties: The first steps toward developing cultural dialogue were identified, recognizing its key role in strengthening friendly ties between our countries.
