Meeting was held with representatives of Nepalese business circles.

On June 17, a meeting was held at the headquarters of IOEC and the Eurasian Dialogue with representatives of the business community of Nepal.

From the Russian side, the negotiations were attended by Dmitry Stasyulis, Editor-in-Chief of the "Eurasian Dialogue" magazine and President of IOEC; Sergey Pasechnik, Vice President of IOEC for Digitalization; and Vasily Yankov, Vice President of IOEC for International Logistics.

The parties focused on the prospects for cooperation between Russian and Nepalese businesses in the transportation sector and the launch of new logistics hubs. They also discussed initiatives for the exchange of labor resources between the two countries.

Currently, trade turnover between Russia and Nepal amounts to approximately $5 million. Russia exports metals, transport and spare parts, fertilizers, and seeds. Imports in the opposite direction are concentrated on agricultural products, textiles, and leather.

Nepalese representatives expressed their readiness to participate in the "New Era – New Ways" forum on August 20-21, 2025, and to formulate practical proposals for the development of relations.
